This month's edition of 3D Artist Magazine prominently features Blender. It has Nikola's supercar concept on the cover, and an article by Reynante.

Nikola writes:

Hello,

I'd like to inform that my supercar concept I designed is featured and on top cover in new issue 83 of "3d artist"magazine from UK.There is also my interview with short story on how I modeled it.I hope so this will bring more artists to amazing blender3d software

Reynante says:

I recently got info from Imagine Publishing that they covered a Blender
feature in Issue 83 of the 3D Artists Magazine.

I also shared there an in-depth article on creating a still life scene as well
as shared some tips on lighting.

  1. When I saw my supercar on top cover,I decided to quickly post it and to share on blendernation community. When I've bought digital issue latter, then I saw this issue is mostly all about blender3d software, and I'm highly pleased about it.When I negotiated on what to be published about me with their feature editor,my goal was to focus on art and on blender3d software. In this way I wanted to give my deepest gratitude to all blender developers to all blender tutors and to blender community.Without constant software developing and without great tutorials via internet,I couldn't create amazing concept cars like this.I wish you all the best and keep up the good work.

  2. I just had to go out and buy a copy, but at a cover price of £6 (= €8.60 / $9.35) I won't be buying it again >:-(
It is great to see Blender spread across so many pages, and hopefully it will convert (or at least interest) some of the readership who must surely be annoyed by the stupidly expensive prices of the paid-for applications.

I'm the designer and 3d modeler of supercar on cover which was created and designed with blender3d software.Publishers had no place for more about my work, but I have to mention that the final rendering of this red supercar was created with Simlab Composer 2015 commercial rendering software.I've sent renderings created with cycles and with Simlab Composer rendering software, but at the end editors choice was rendering with Simlab. From the other hand experts for cycles render could produce the same result or even better renderings than I did it.
