Blender Game Engine: "That Rock Paper Scissor Game!"

0

"Rock Paper Scissors" is a new take on the old game, built in an arcade setting using the Blender Game Engine.

Tony Powell writes:

Hey hey Everyone! i just wanted to share some news about a new way of player Rock, Paper, Scissor(RPS)!

"That Rock Paper Scissor Game!" (TRPSGAME) takes the core mechanics of RPS and brings it into a new space for multi and single player gaming.

There are 3 players, each either Rock Paper or Scissor and players can navigate the map in four directions up, down, left or right. The objective is to collide into your prey while avoiding your predator! So if your Rock, you must collide with Scissor but avoid collision with paper, Paper must collide with rock but avoid Scissor and Scissor must collide with Paper but avoid Rock!

Players can also use Power ups to give them a competitive edge! Power Ups include but are not limited to Dashing (ability to increase you speed 10x for 1 sec), Invisibility (reduce you visibility down to 3% for several seconds) and Land Mines (ability to place 3 land mines on the ground for your prey to trigger, These can also be picked up and placed else where). Player with the highest score by the end of the match wins!

This game is built in Blender and powered by the Blender Game Engine and will be released for Windows, Mac and Linux computers in 2015! I originally came up with this idea out of a passion for the game mechanics of RPS and a desire to bring this style of gaming to a different kind of interactive experience!
