Oliver Jelko shares the previsualization of a projection project in Germany.

After leaving it on a hard disk inside a drawer for quite a while, I have recently uploaded a video dating back to 2013.

This is a previsualisation of a concept by Michael Bielicky and therefore a commissioned work; it was realized by Malte Paetsch and me.

Music credits go to Kevin Macleod. The animation is based on photos we have taken inside the Munster in Ulm, Germany.

While the particle system for the projected words was done in Maya, Blender was used for most of the architectual reconstruction, projection mapping and 3d texture painting. After almost losing my temper trying to reconstruct the ceiling from multiple photos

while still having them matched for texturing, I decided to use the camera tracker on untrackable footage by manually pushing around tracking points and succeeded :)
