This month, we're seeking your input on how best to determine which 2 Blenderheads get a free copy of the new “Learning Blender: A Hands-On Guide to Creating 3D Animated Characters,” by Oliver Villar, thanks to the support we are receiving from Pearson Education.
The Portland, Oregon Blender User Group (BlenderPDX) is holding a meeting on Saturday, the 15th of November at the Art Institute of Portland, room 204 (a PC lab) from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Seating is limited, but everyone is welcome to come, explore, and share their experiences with Blender! We are completely free and open. We are very newb friendly, because we are all newbs.
There's no need to bring anything but yourself. However, you may benefit from bringing your own thumb drive to swap-n-share and save all sorts of stuff that we'll be doing.
For more info, check us out at BlenderPDX.org, Portland Blender MeetUp, 15 November 2014, BlenderPDX Events on Facebook, and contact us with questions or suggestions at [email protected].
We also cast our MeetUps via Google+ Hangout parties. So, if you want to join in but are unable to show up physically, contact us at [email protected] and we'll add you to the circle and invite you in.
