Trailer: 'Sally'

Dominic Maler presents the trailer to his short film 'Sally'.

Dominic Maler writes:

This Shortfilm named "Sally" is my graduation work and the hardest thing I made in my entire life. Its about the shy student Eugene Bowrinkle, who goes through a personal crisis. The love of his live is a prostitute named Sally Styles, wich doesn't want to know nothing about him. One day Sally got kidnapped and Eugene risks his own live to save her from harm. But after a highly dangerous rescue mission the hunt just starts from there. The Question is: Will Eugene be able to protect her? And by doing so will he be able to win her heart?

It took me two years to produce this shortfilm and I tried to keep the quality-level on a high standart in every aspect of an entertaining film.

I had to manage the following tasks myself: Story, concept, screenplay, storyboards, animatic, layout, character- props- set- and car Design, modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, compositing, color correction and a simulation(explosion).

And of course I had passioned helpers on my way:

• Big Boy - Olivier Toukam (Shaman "Belle Vie")

I got to thank all this great people for their unbelievable support and passion with which they contributed to this movie. I hope we can represent Blender on as much festivals as possible with this short.
