Blender World Cup 2009: ‘The Other World’

bwc-2009The Blender World Cup 2009 design contest has begun. This year’s competition ends on the 1st Nov at 00:00 GMT.

From the contest website:

“I couldn’t explain how, but I knew I was needed. I felt my mind being twisted and stretched as it was dragged into another world. For what… I don’t know!”

This year’s topic is focused on the other world which should contain fantasy, creativity, and interest. Good luck everyone!

Just to be clear, animations and BGE projects are not allowed in the BWC?

  • Alex Delderfield (AD-Edge)

    @ +peter

It says on the website “Your entries should be submitted as a JPG image file”
So it needs to be a still rendered image, which in my opinion means that BGE stuff is still ok, for example doing a still rendered entry containing game art from the BGE. So yes, games themselves and animations are not allowed at all.

I’m hoping to get something together this year :)
I tried back in 2007, but that was a major failure….
