Painted for war

3

By Luis Roach.

This image was made for testing a posible pipeline of 3D Scanning with Blender and other digital tools. In blender I have sculpted details with the dynamic topology tool active and corrected scanning errors. The image was rendered with Cycles with the Denoising filter and the Principal shader.

My conclusion is that for realistic work is a great time saver, bringing singularities of real life. The counterpart is that you have to spend time cleaning the model, but in Blender this was done very quickly.

  1. I truly love this, and it would be excellent if I could get a tutorial on that; there's many ideas that I have that could work on those project in mind.
