This is a project I've made in few weeks to improve my sculpting skills.
I believe this kind of exercise is a good way to progress.
I've reworked it so many time but I believe, even if it's not top notch, I've reached a descent likeness.

It was rendered in cycles with 2000 samples. Base and refinement sculpt in blender. Detail sculpting in Zbrush. All texture hand painted (no texture projection). Post in photoshop.

  1. Impressive work! Your attention to detail is remarkable. From the eyebrows to the pores, SSS, veins in the ears, and wrinkles, you've clearly spend some time on this and it is a very strong likeness. I wish I could see the full image.
