Video: Paper Plane Zoetrope + Making of

Andras writes:

I was really inspired by this Victorian era invention called the Zoetrope that produces the illusion of motion by displaying a sequence of different poses. I wanted to try if I can recreate the same effect in CG and also if I can tell a simple story with a bit of a twist at the end. I used Blender for modeling, shading, rendering and also animated the camera in it. When I made this, I was still new to Blender, so I had to use Maya for the character rigging and animation. The character models were created by my friend and colleague Tamas Kurdi. Going forward, I’m going to do everything inside Blender as it’s so much more artist friendly than any other 3D software. I’ve been converted! :)
