Modelling Car Interiors - Instruments - in 3d

rodhalligan writes:

I am currently modelling Interiors for 3 different cars and have been recommending my previous follow along for the Instruments to those that are doing the tutorials. But I rewatched the videos myself and decided they were no longer good enough. I am now a bit better at Blender and more comfortable doing these videos. So... a new series and an offer are outlined in this video. I hope it may be of interest to car and transport modellers in general.

Super nice man! I still have a Shelby CObra catching dust on mu Usb Drive. Im about this far in the project that i need to do inside panels, engine etc. I kinda lost intrest in the project back then. Was my first car modeling, but took so long.

Do you also have tips for engines, especially all those shapes which seemed to be merge shapes into one.

Sweet had a look at your YT page and saw some tuts on engines. Super nice. Hope there is some good info and tips. I kinda know the basics, but never really tried if im honest. I know its better to just try, you already learn from that.

    • Yes. The engine I am currently doing is for the Ferrari Daytona and to be honest it is the most complex thing I have done to date. There are a few people following along and one I know of is at the same point as I am. But the 427 from the Cobra is a fair bit simpler to model and you can see the approaches I take and the techniques I use.
