I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

    • Dunno but what I do know is it used to be free, then a mega donor gets involved tho yes I use ue4 for my project, and now armor paint is no longer free, how is that a good thing ? Some of us cant even afford $17,or is there going to be free version with limited features ? Otherwise is it difficult to compile the code assuming it can be obtained ?
