ArmorPaint, the open source alternative to Substance Painter, has just received a $25k grant from Epic games to support further development. Check out the video below for a quick impression of the software. You can download the source for free. Ready to use packages can be purchased on Gumroad.

Epic Games. Epic company.
Is Armory the GE dead now? I see the dev attention shifting to Paint.
Great news on the Mega-Grand though!
Dunno but what I do know is it used to be free, then a mega donor gets involved tho yes I use ue4 for my project, and now armor paint is no longer free, how is that a good thing ? Some of us cant even afford $17,or is there going to be free version with limited features ? Otherwise is it difficult to compile the code assuming it can be obtained ?
The source code is free, so you can download it and compile it yourself. Only the binary is paid.
Armor is very good software, I hope this will help the developer to make it even better :)
Thank You Epic!
