Why not fix the Bevel after boolean operations first. This will give blender a real parametric advantage, which is what is used by most engineers and architects.

    • Completely disagree with previous comment-- (Industrial designer using Blender here) and this is one of the first things that screws up for most products that need to be modeled in inches, millimeters or units OTHER than meters. Huge for anyone using this to design actual manufacturer designs. Bevel for hard surfaces are screwed up because Blender doesn't allow edge groups. THAT would be huge for anyone used to working with parametric. You cant even duplicate edit level bevels with modifiers.
You know what else would be awesome? Ability to read nurbs and quadrangulate poly convert like moi3d and convert to nurbs like maya and even better Fusion 360.

      • Thomas, is it possible that Blender will contain those options in a future? Or perhaps it's better other applications.
