Haha, yea. The model is also based on the lighthouse from Bioshock Infinite.
Perhaps you could work on the light beam? I noticed this tutorial making a fake lightbeam using volume setup, i dont use cycles though :)

Yeaa… I havn’t worked much with volumetrics in cycles yet, so I just painted the beam in Photoshop. Cool! Do you have a link? Real volumetrics in cycles is a pain to render.
