Thanks to some recent Blender development I've been able to get a PBR approximated shader that works for Blender internal that I'd like to share.

Plus a quick look over setting up some other real-time PBR options out there too.

  1. I just started my new job at Epic Games a couple weeks ago! It feels like good timing with Blender PBR coming soon. :)

  2. Thanks a lot for this, it looks great in the viewport and it also renders incredibly fast!
    Seems quite easily comprehensible as a general concept but a lot more complex in the technical details... I wouldn't mind a tut with a more detailed explanation, someday. :)
