Christmas Eve is about to begin here, so let's dress up BlenderNation with some great Holiday Seasons headers! I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

    Thank you everyone, for being who you are. I want to wish you a hearty "Merry Christmas!" this year, and a blessed, eventful, enjoyable, challenging, and ultimately worthwhile year. A big thanks to Ton, for creating Blender in the first place, for all the original NaN staff who, even after the decline of NaN have gone on in life and, like Bart, have continued to contribute to Blender in a great many ways. To all the artists out there, even the non-Blender artists, and even to the people who don't understand why on Earth we enjoy being addicted to art so much, may they have a great Christmas and coming year. And to the Blender (and other open source) developers, a big whooping THANK YOU! And of course, to friends, family, an finally, but definitely not the least, to God, who is King of all and who has given us a purpose.

    Thor, Perun, Rhiannon, Vili, Yuanzhi Tianzun, Jehovah, Jesus, Odin,
    Freyr, Sieba, Badha, Hors, Earth Goddess, Bhagavan, Vesna, vodka,
    whisky, beer, wine or whatever and have a very good time.

    Remember to be merry this xmas. I mean very merry, as in extremely
    happy.

    Give someone a hug, say hello to someone, smile and be happy.

    To those of you who have posted free tutorial and .blend files for
    download, my appreciation. I have learn't so much from you.

    To those who have produced the books for Blender, thank you
    for the good work. Your books have been really helpful.

    Those of you involved in constantly rewriting and updrading Blender.
    I really appreciate your hard work.

    To eeryone else involved, thank you. I really appreciate all the
    hard work that has went into blender

    I look forward to more developments with blender.

    I will now get back to eating my dinner, or more accurately what I
    have cremated in the oven. I am a terrible cook.

    @avishai6: Thanks for sharing the demo reel. :) The fluid sim (for "ZEAN") was very nice. Question: was all the 3D done in Blender? If so, yahoo! And about the Christmas card: thanks! :)
