Mclaren P1 - approaching rain again
Saw this car somewhere and fell in love with the shapes and design -> had to 3d model it !
wasn´t the easiest one I´ve done with all the curves going inside and outside the car but satisfied with the outcome since I didn´t spend too much time on it.3D modelling and rendering in blender/cycles
after effects with Photoshop ( done reeaally quickly since it was 3 am and I was tired..)Credits for Sayan Mondal for awesome procedural rainy window material ! Also tested it on the surface of the car by solidifying the car_paint parts and using the material on top of that base material.

Looks really good. I like the rain effect too, not just a boring car render but some extra effort put into it!
On the right side it looks like there's a really harsh shadow though, on the road, which shouldn't be there. Maybe something wrong with the shadow catcher plane?
thanks for feedback !
Yeah actually by the time I noticed that weird harsh shadow I was supposed to photoshop it away but seems I forgot to :D no idea where it came from but might have been too low settings on Volume passes since I tried using some Volume Scatter shaders to act as a water spraying from the tires.
