Bart Veldhuizen I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). Nice job!
If you don't mind a bit of constructive criticism here, just two small things: the blue aperture part could use a little more finer matrix of dots (I hope you get what I mean there), and, unless you were going for this look on purpose, the textures are a bit clean (the textures on Wheatley in the game are a little more worn and grungy).
But those small things aside, it's a very good model of Wheatley. I'd love to see another render of Wheatley, maybe something even animated. :)

i didn't want to do a smaller dot structure because i thought it'd get lost in a lower res image.
I also didn't feel that i wanted to do a dirt map because then it wouldn't make sense out of the context of a background, and i really wanted to skip a background to show off the model.
I'm also working on a new turntable now.
