Vineyard scene + video tutorial

By Jan Morek.

I know it has been a while, but finally, I put together a new tutorial.

I hope you find it useful and you will learn something new.

It´s a breakdown of my recent personal project made in Blender + OCTANE. The video is focused on intermediate Blender users, I´m not covering all the details, the goal is to present my way of doing exterior renders step by step.

Afterward, I decided to change the car - Many thanks @wirewheels.club for this great model of Jaguar. And after many years of archviz, I fell in love with shooting cars :)

  1. Congratulation Ján - what a convincing image, what a great feel... I love it all! As whole, it feels so sweet, so realy, yet that's entirely outside realism. I imagine I feel the warmth of the air, I feel like I do smell the smells of that vineyard, but not just nature, (that lingering smell of poorly burnt gas when you stop an older car, however well kept, the heavy smell of grease, even the leather of the seats), and I can hear the insects everywhere.... The lighting is so poetic - very convincing. All that from your image. so thank you!!
    Cheers!

  2. Hi Ján - thanks for the response. I took a look at the link, it's AMAZING and funny. Funny because, before watching the video, I *thought* that the Porshe version was a real world photo reference!! That's so interesting how you did it - thanks for the video and sharing your tips... Good luck to you and your colleagues!
