The tire looks real for me and nice, I don't understand why is the blue specular color on the rim and usually there are signs on it. Looks like to me the background's and the tire's light have different angle, and intensity, and its background is under shadow..
Honestly I never tried to do a render like that, so I like it :)
I like everything about it! Would like to see this as a tutorial.
