Very good model and image. Only, as a strat owner myself, I know that this is way too much shining for a '50s model ;)
Nice shot! I'm a Fender player too :) +1 at Zander
Very nicely done. The wood is way too shiny, though.
probably blame it on the guy who tried to refurbish its coating and over-varnished. being a 50s model and all, he probably got a lil carried away. Its like over 60 years old now.
I think a more matte varnish and a single-layer application wouldve done the job... cant really blame Acala, he just modeled that over-varnished concept.
kidding of course. Its well done :)
Strat lovers unite! My favorites are Eric Johnson Strats. Talk about some nice guitars!
Great render, but that is *way* too glossy :P
The strings are too thin and have waaayyy too many windings: most guitar players avoid winding too much to have a more stable tuning (plus the windings wouldn't be in that perfectly cylindrical configuration).
Many thanks for all the comments everyone!
I own Fender Japan Stratocaster, but I'm not awfully familiar with the Strat.
So this image's Strat is not the specific model but is imaginary one as tinonetic said,
Although I made a less glossy used version.

Very nice changes, I love the scratches! Two remarks: the new "rusty" metal looks very weird (too diffuse?), and the 3 non-wound strings shouldn't look darker than the wound ones (maybe you're modelling them with a flat surface instead of an actual rounded string?)
