I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

    • probably blame it on the guy who tried to refurbish its coating and over-varnished. being a 50s model and all, he probably got a lil carried away. Its like over 60 years old now.

I think a more matte varnish and a single-layer application wouldve done the job... cant really blame Acala, he just modeled that over-varnished concept.

  1. The strings are too thin and have waaayyy too many windings: most guitar players avoid winding too much to have a more stable tuning (plus the windings wouldn't be in that perfectly cylindrical configuration).

  2. Very nice changes, I love the scratches! Two remarks: the new "rusty" metal looks very weird (too diffuse?), and the 3 non-wound strings shouldn't look darker than the wound ones (maybe you're modelling them with a flat surface instead of an actual rounded string?)
