For this study all I knew is that I wanted an illustration-like scene of a ship approaching a planet after listening to Deep Purple's Space Truckin'. I mainly focused on improving my composition skills. Everything was modeled in Blender, rendered in Cycles and then some post-processing in Photoshop. Most of the assets were textured in Substance Painter.
