Nicely done, the only 2 things that stick out to me and made me realize that this was cg were the pcb board details and the cd.
On the pcb board there are a couple things, firstly the details are too smooth for capacitors and secondly the board and pins are a bit to rough and matte.
As for the cd, the center where the plastic is clear is just not clear enough.
Other than these details the image is nearly flawless and at first glance i mistook it for a photo knowing that i was on a cg site and the header image is always a cg image.
Awesome , made me thinks it was a photo.
Got a quick wow and suspension of disbelief from me. The only thing that took me out was the inside ring of the CD, which I am accustomed to seeing as clear. May not be the norm everywhere though.
Had me fooled - I assumed it was Blender made as it was on BN, but it just looked too real to me so I had to check it out. I've installed probalby about 20 video cards, so I don't know the details, but know the generic look of them. Pretty convincing render to my untrained eye :) I also like the dirt and seal or whatever you have on the table that reflects the light. Gives it a very "real" look. Nice work!
