I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

    • How I miss the days of the superior cartridge. AND N64 with it's 2 second or less load times.
I don't think of the graphics (specifically the textures) as low quality. more like: 'stylized' with a hint of low resolution.
More game, less loading the graphics you will find crap in 2 years!

      • I miss the days of cartridges, too. Seems like developers did better work under such more "primitive" limits then than they tend to do today. I love beautiful HD graphical horsepower and all, but I think there's a balance to achieve between aesthetics vs. graphics, and one between game experience vs. game size, and they're two balances that many game developers just don't care to strike today--they tend to focus on the latter end of both balances more.
