Labcenter Electronics Proteus was used for the board design, then it was exported as 3DS to Blender. There was a lot of cleaning done afterwards (all faces are triangulated, separated meshes with bad topology, holes, bad smoothing groups, no UV...etc).
The materials and lighting took over 4 hours to get it where wanted, then it was post processed in RawTherapee and then added "bad camera" effects in Gimp : Desaturation, bloom, dirty lens, distortion, "cubism", desaturation, dark contours on white areas, lower response to red light when it's too bright(at least that's what my phone camera does)...etc . Most of these are very unnoticeable though.
