A quick project to test Cycles (I'm rather used to Yafaray). Done within two days. I wish I had a better computer now ! It took 8 hours to render just a 1000 sample pass on my old laptop… without GPU acceleration. Smoke was rendered on another pass with Blender Internal, of course, and compositing was made with both Gimp and Blender.
I'm not fully satisfied with the final render, though it was really interesting to explore Cycles with this project.
