Hey Gwennaël, i’ve been watching this game for a while and I’ve asked this once before. Do you think there will be support for players modding the game with a Blender to Unreal pipeline?

    Thanks

Hey ! I’m not sure, really. At least, we’ve made sure that it is technically possible.

While it’s easy to import Blender assets to the game, creating ships or stations and cooking mods from that is quite an involved process and we don’t know exactly how we can make it easier for modders. At the moment, it would involve getting Unreal, rebuilding the game, downloading a content sample for the game, and following some obscure instructions to create a mod… Not exactly great :)

But it’s definitely on our radar, and we have some ideas to make it better, so that should be updated during Early Access.

Well its great that its at least on your list of possible features. Good news is with the blender community, even with just having some documentation on process of getting assets into the game would get people excited to try. I know i am. In any case i can’t wait to play!

        Thanks for the reply.
