Carnavalito

In Guatemala, the day before Lent, we have a celebration called "Carnaval". It's unlike any other carnivals you may know. Basically, kids dress up in costume and chase each other around smashing painted eggshells filled with paper chads on their heads. Adults don't dress up but they sometimes do the eggshell smashing. With adults it can be a bit different, though. Instead of the paper chads, they may use flour or, if they're dicks, they use real/unused eggs... we all have that one friend who is a dick. Being a kid is awesome! You don't realize it until it's too late... of course.
