Benjamin: this is GORGEOUS! What beautiful and perfect rendering of a calanque. I was going to define the word for those who are not familiar with that French word, then I thought to myself: your picture is self-defining. I'd add that the Mediterranean shore between Marseille and Toulon is mostly limestone cliffs, and replete with coves (like the one you pictured). These are the so-called calanques. I LOVE the color of the water, how you managed to render the wetness - the debris (I imagine sticks, mixed with seaweed =posidonis) etc... Great sense of proportion (I thought of "Sugiton" when I saw your work - I have no idea if you worked off a specific picture you took or what...) I am no specialist - I don't know many calanques - but that's what popped in my mind).
Cheers!
