A 3D generalist and Blender user for many years.
I've worked for the VFX industry (latest job was on 'Alien: Covenant' as a lighting artist for MPC in Montreal) and today I'm in charge of a 3D department for a product customization company over the web.
High-end and rich open source software as Blender is today for independent digital artist and creative of all sort a boon to worship. It allows them to remain unconstrained and self-sufficient without smothering monthly fees to pony up, unimpeded to create whatever is on their mind, free of corporate shackles.
Blender is our Rembrandt horse hair brush and painting canvas, although with a bit more pixels.
