Clock Face Generator – Blender Extension

A clock generator/configurator extension using the Blender Python API.

Create and customize clock faces by playing around with the parameters. This is still a work in progress, but there’s already a nice collection of features. Here’s briefly what is possible:

• Time: Control the rotation of the hour, minute and second hands using time parameters.
• Dial: Create circular and elliptical dials.
• Dial Text: Add (one) custom text to the clock face, adjust vertical offset, change the font face, etc.
• Rim: Create rims with rectangular/semi-circular profiles with a few additional customizations.
• Hour/Minute Markers: Create circular/line markers for hours and minutes, – control their size and offset from the center, etc.
• Hour Numbers: Customize size, alignment (view/radial), font, offset, etc. of hour numbers.
• Hands: A few different designs to choose from depending on the look you are going for.
• Appearance: Almost all elements have customizable color, roughness and metallic.
