BCON Austin: Speakers and Schedule

The US version of BCON is happening next week (April 13-14) and the line-up is now complete.

BCON Austin has an impressive lineup of speakers and covers a wide variety of topics. What stood out to me was several talks on the use of AI (and it’s impact) on the artists community, and the talks on ‘unusual’ applications of Blender like forensic visualization, construction and aerospace prototyping.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!).
