Fred Comal re-created the famous LoFi girl in Blender and shares some insights on the creation process and it’s challenges.

Perhaps by some “chance” YouTube algorithm, I stumbled upon this LoFi Girl video, whose visual style I really liked. So, as a personal test, I wanted to see if I could recreate it. It was also because I wondered about the origin of the original image: who creates this kind of thing and how? Is it digital painting or 3D? With added 2D characters? To this day, I still don’t know any more.
