You can now download the annual report of the Blender Foundation that provides a thorough outline of the Foundation’s goals, organization, finances, projects and people.

Ton Roosendaal writes:

The year of 2024 was another great year for Blender. The user base keeps growing more professionally, and support from the industry and especially from the community has been exceeding expectations.

The report is complete, but the team plans to expand it further with a an insightufl “Blender by the numbers” section in the coming weeks.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Community Lead at n8n.
