The part I enjoy the most is coming up with new mechanisms. I always try to add something new to every marble machine I make. This time I came up with a marble pump inspired by loofa, a dispenser, and a vertical conveyor. It was a fun idea to play with and turned out better than I expected.

The whole design started with the pump. I wanted to show how it works inside, so I used frosted acrylic and solid grey for the shell, and gave the wheel a bright yellow highlight to make it stand out. It looked so good I decided to carry that style through the rest of the machine.

If you’re new to my stuff, all the marble movement is simulated using rigid body physics. It’s super satisfying to watch everything come together, and honestly, just a joy to create!
