Animation for Jimi Hendrix + MoPOP Museum

Reggie Perry, Jr. and Most Incredible Studio created this work for the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle.

Here is some new animation work I created as part of a collaboration between Jimi Hendrix + MoPop + Most Incredible Studio.

Huge thanks to Syreeta Gates of Most Incredible Studio for allowing me to animate their vision for this project!

This was a ton of fun to create. I got to apply new stuff I learned in Houdini + Blender geometry nodes and produce some sounds + music for the project, inspired by “Little Miss Lover” by Hendrix.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!).
