You’re Using Blender’s Graph Editor WRONG
\Think Blender’s Graph Editor is bad? In this video, Brian Kouhi shows how to fully optimize Blender’s Graph Editor for a professional animation workflow.
If you’re a Maya animator or just don’t understand Blender’s graph editor, this is the tutorial that will change the way you animate.

I’m not saying Blender is hard to learn, but it would benefit all new users if Blender would align itself a little bit more to existing software.
This video is a good example of this……
With some small changes in the way the UI and various panels look and work, it would already be very helpful to align workflows a bit better, and reduce confusion. And the good things is most, if not all, is easily tweaked in the preferences and panel settings.
It’s all there, but Blender’s odd way of working and naming stuff is sometimes in the way here.
I know… Not often a popular opinion. ;)
It’s quite typical. I’ve been many times frustrated by the way blender works, sometimes bit unintuitive ways. Blender doesn’t make it too easy and its half life project to learn some of the proper workflows. Sometimes I’ve felt that blender itself almost is like a canvas for some addon developers to make tools that otherwise wouldn’t ever be done. Things like flip fluids and so many more etc. Its not bad either.
