They have left the Italian translation far behind, but there is still work to be done to catch up with the Portuguese team, which has reached 21%.
It is great to see that several Dutch Blender employees are now also contributing to the translation. Their knowledge and expertise help ensure a high-quality and accurate translation.
It is quite remarkable that a Dutch product like Blender has gone so long without a Dutch manual. This translation finally fills that gap. A Dutch-language manual is an important step forward, especially for elementary school children and people with low literacy skills. Reading in one’s native language makes learning a complex program like Blender much more accessible. Thanks to this translation, more people will be able to discover and harness the power of Blender.

Why don’t you let ChatGPT translate the manual? I think ChatGPT should be able to do it at an unprecedented speed?
We use it, but it’s very inconsistent in specialized terminology. We reread every output and sometimes rewrite the output. Each line has be to put in manually. That’s how the translation application works.
