Making a Castle Ruins Environment in Blender

I find blender to be an amazing tool for Concept art. I wanted to showcase how i created these Castle Ruins in Blender.

I showcase the variety of techniques used to create the Ruins :

  • I used the blender modeling tools create a Blockout and use booleans cut into the models.
  • After I Blockout the ruins, I use dynamic Topology to sculpt further details.
  • Then using masking tools, I texture the ruins.
  • I also cover the process for the rest of the scene and especially the emphasis of introducing story into your artworks to elevate them further.
