Demo Reel 2024: Albin Merle, Director & 3D Artist
Spectacular work by Albin Merle!
Sere’s the howcase of my most exciting and impactful work as a film director and 3D artist. This reel features highlights from the past year, along with some standout projects from 2023
( because, let’s face it, editing last year’s reel didn’t make the to-do list ! ).
From captivating commercials to intricate 3D visualizations, this collection reflects my passion for storytelling, my dedication to craft, and the creative collaborations that brought these projects to life.
I hope you enjoy this journey through my lens and imagination !

Hi Albin: This is breathtaking! Everything “scales” the minute details, your overall “picture”, the flow of your reel, it’s all perfect to me.
In sum, félicitations M. MERLE, congratulations Mr. Merle: very, very well done…
Cheers!
Arnaud
LONG PS: Incidentally, I have a personal interest in gear. Gears can be caricatured, and it’s not trivial to create them mechanically sound. Your gears look “correct”, your mechanisms are splendid (i’m not sure how you got the blueprint – these must be jealously guarded)… Maybe it’s fiction – but I like it. Basically your gears take me down memory lane: it reminds me of a professor Electrical Engineer (Italian university – maybe his name was Seleri), who wrote a python script to create mechanically sound gears (all kinds – chevrons inner, outer etc.). He had based and linked his script to a long paper explaining the theory of gears (once you read it, it’s much harder to accept naive gears)… But in the end, 3D is fun for the impossible and the very possible universes it creates… Your reel straddles the 2 cleverly.
Holy Cow. This is incredibly impressive. Great track to show it off with as well.
