This free geometry nodes setup makes it easy to add water droplets to any Blender model.
The results can be customized using the following options:
- Collection - by default, uses the built-in collection of droplet models, but you can replace this with anything (like Suzanne)
- Minimum distance - controls the space between the droplets
- Density - controls the amount of droplets on the surface
- Random seed - lets you pick another random distribution
You can grab the .blend file of this tool for free from Gumroad.

Great tool! I hope you enjoy receiving a compliment from a photographer who used to do all this manually in the studio. Now I'm experimenting with Blender, trying to replicate my best shooting schemes in 3D, and developing a method for applying drops comes in handy. I remember Blender Guru once showed how to make drops using special image files, but your approach seems more flexible and versatile - firstly, we get drops in real 3D, and secondly, their parameters can be adjusted. I'll definitely try how it all works. I subscribed to your YouTube channel, good luck to you.
