0

The August 2024 update for “Motion Presets for Blender” has been released, here are the new features.

Customized Presets

All Presets can now be customized. When you click on Add Motion Preset Button, A pop-up box emerges asking you to define the values of the preset before applying the preset. Different Presets have different customizable options.

New Presets (and Removal of Redundant Presets)

With the introduction of Customization in Presets, some presets became redundant. (Like Rotate Twice, Rotate Clockwise / Counterclockwise etc.) So, they have now been removed and replaced with Newer Presets, allowing greater control of the animation.

1. Move - Jump and Spin - Bezier (X, Y, Z axis)
2. Scale - Bezier and Vector - (All Axes, X, Y and Z axis)
3. Scale Oscillate - Bezier and Vector - (All Axes, X, Y and Z axis)
3. Wiggle - Vector - (All Axes, X, Y and Z axis)

Scale All Keyframes

If you are a blender beginner (or used to other softwares like Adobe AE and Premiere Pro), this option will help you increase or decrease the length of the animation.

Copy Custom Animation

If you are a blender beginner (or used to other softwares like Adobe AE and Premiere Pro), this option will help you copy and paste animation from one mesh to the other.

Delete All Keyframes

If you are a blender beginner (or used to other softwares like Adobe AE and Premiere Pro), this option will help you delete all the keyframes from the selected mesh.

UI Refresh

UI of the add-on re-designed to adjust the new options and make it easier and simpler to use. Other Animation Presets section is now renamed to Middle Animation Presets.
