Ray-Portal-Based Interiors In Mega City!

Here’s an overview of all the new features:

  1. Ray-Portal-Shader-Based Interior Seen Through Windows. We’re not talking about crappy basic interiors! They are interiors filled with 2-GB’s-mocap-based lively people, taking orders, waiting, sitting, talking, and working on computers!
  2. Business Districts Grown Around Main Streets. Citigen is no longer occupied only by square buildings. (It was a deliberate approach to optimize project files when exporting to UE5) Varied shapes of shopping centers and small shops can now be found around the main street(s). (They have been optimized for UE5 export as well. Currently, they have only one style with different colors but more styles will be coming, like in the form of asset packs.)
Users can control how far such business districts should expand into residential areas and they can turn them into small gardens and parks as much as they want.
  3. Default Crowds Assets Have Been Upgraded with 2 Gigabytes of Mocap Data (Ultimate Version Only). In order to accommodate interiors, animation-optimized human assets have been recreated from scratch. They take orders, work, wait in line, sit and wait, or work on their laptops!
  4. UI Reorganized & Simplified with Embedded Online Tut Links. Features that most users do not need to know have been put into hidden sections. And video tutorial links are now embedded into the panels they are dealing with.
  5. Make Room for Your Hero Buildings! Users can now vacate any part of the Citigen city to put their hero assets (buildings) as the main focus of attention!
  6. CEL Environment Lighting Panel Optimized for Ease of Use: CEL is now more practical and fast!

ATTENTION MacOS Users: Apparently, due to some internal issues in Blender 4.2 MacOS, Citigen 4.2.1 is not working in MacBook Pro. The issues must have been resolved since Citigen 4.2.1 has been found to be working in the following Blender 4.2.1 RC MacOS version.

ATTENTION Users who need to stay with Blender 4.1: Citigen 4.2.1 for Blender 4.1 should be available in your Blendermarket download box if you have already purchased Citigen. It lacks Ray-Portal-Shader-based interiors.
