Julian Höltge from Germany-based game studio Byting Games shared this neat geometry nodes setup that'll generate a convincing looking LEGO effect. Just extrude and play!

A few notes:

  • You can subdivide any face to refine your design.
  • Only extrude along normals - extruding at other angles will break the LEGO effect.
