Blending Man 2024 - Seattle, June 15-16

2

This is the first time I've seen an event like this in the Blender community - a Blender-themed camping trip! Oscar Baechler shares shares details.

The Seattle Blender User Group is venturing out into the Washington wilderness for a first-of-its-kind weekend of doing everything Blender-related that you can do with the power of nature.

WHO: Join SEABUG artists and any friends/family that wish to come that are 16+ years of age as we venture into the desert of Lake Lenice, WA for a camping trip focused on gathering all sorts of nature content related to Blender and 3D. (We want to be focused on getting footage in the desert, we may be taking 1-3 mile hikes, and younger kids would require dialing back some of our goals to accommodate them.)

WHAT: A 1-day/1-night overnight camping trip with the goal of generating some drone footage, photoscans, maybe HDRIs/360 photos, and generally as much photos, video, and other media that we can capture. Folks are encouraged to share media and content with each other from the event. There may be opportunities to try and knock off some personal and/or collaborative art projects. People will camp at Lenice Lake Public Access with their own vehicles and camping stuff.

WHERE: Lenice Lake, with various other outdoor endeavors in the area.
