Adriaan Claerhout shares his short film 'MILD' that was inspired by lucid dreaming.

My short film is a trip into the world of lucid dreaming, a form of controlled dreaming (something I have been experimenting with since I was little). I have processed various chaotic emotions and flashy memories from my dream diaries into a 2-minute film piece. It feels like a world where everything is random but there are deeper personal meanings. The power of dreams as processing of memories, emotions, fears/traumas… with infinite creative expression. Build your own beautiful stories!

I had the amazing opportunity to see my film on the big screen in theaters and win a young filmmakers award: - MOOOV Best Short Movie, Kind of Bruges 2024
