Creating a Floor Plan with Dimensions in Blender

1

Ruben Messerschmidt introduces the MeasureIt_ARCH add-on, which helps display dynamic measurements in your Blender scene.

In this video, I'll show you a fast and intuitive way to create a detailed and precise floor plan with dimensions in Blender. First, we use the Section Box addon to make the drawings, and then the MeasureIt_Arch addon to add the dimensions. I hope it will be a great addition to your workflow!

If you haven't already, get the addons here:

  1. If you try, make sure you get the right version. Github releases page says: "NOTE: Version 0.4.6 does not work with Blender 3.0, the development branch of this addon is most up to date and does work with Blender 3.0+"

OP, will check out, but would be a good idea to make a new release (last one dated 2021!) since most people avoid development branches due to their instability.
