Make Blooming Roses in Blender Geo Nodes

0

Cheuqs is back with another Geometry Nodes tutorial on animating flowers!

You can download the petals for this project here. He also offers a Blooming Flowers Pack on the Blender Market.

Here's a relatively easy way to make a procedural flower or rose with geometry nodes, feel free to download the petal and leaf above to follow along. If you decide to make your own petal just try to copy where the point of origin is on mine, or else the rotate settings will be different for you

Roses in the intro are from my blooming flowers pack but use the exact same method to make them as in this tutorial, I just spent a lot more time on polishing the animation and clipping.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
