Scatter: a free add-on that comes bundled with Blender

Martin Klekner shows how to use the Scatter add-on, which comes bundled with Blender. While not as versatile as Geo-Scatter, it’s very convenient for quickly placing a bunch of objects into your scene.

The Scatter Objects addon is built-in, fast and quite powerful for scattering instances all over your terrain. And yet, not many people use it – that’s why I decided to dedicate a short tutorial to it.
