It's that time of the year again! The massive month-long celebration when node-wizards crawl out of their procedurally generated caves and shine with their incredible prowess, #Nodevember, is upon us. This year's edition also adopted the 2-day-spanning prompt system introduced last year to help reduce anxiety of producing something each day. Remember, Blender Artists is also actively participating in this year's edition: Tag your posts with #nodevember to be featured on the official BA Nodevember gallery!
It's #Nodevember time, and the prompts are here! ?
No matter your skill level or which procedural software you use, enjoy this month to hone your skills and show off your art ?

This year's prompt list looks fantastic, and with the maturity Geometry Nodes has reached over the past year of frenetic development, I know we're in for a wild procedural ride. Let's jump right into the first week's highlights, and stick to the end of the post for some bonus educational material!
Day 1-2: Gorgeous Garden
For #Nodevember day 1-2: Gorgeous Garden I implemented an L-System setup fully in #geometrynodes. Can generate and render rules, plus a node to turn the resulting curve into a tree+leaves+flowers #nodevember2023 #lsystem #b3d pic.twitter.com/vBJx5S8zJG

day 1 garden.
inspired by some commercial.
I have to say making everything procedural is stressful, and procedural shader is slow too.
I probably won't make everything procedural since it's neither helpful nor practical. pic.twitter.com/tHpCuG7OSL— FaustKeinz (@FaustXins) November 3, 2023
Day 3-4: Arcade Adventure
I made a playable snake game with Blender's geometry nodes for Nodevember prompt 2 - "arcade adventure"#nodevember2023 #Nodevember #b3d #geometrynodes pic.twitter.com/0ASy05QgGv

02 - Arcade Adventure
I built a mini playable Pinball using sim nodes, works in real time, flippers are controlled by moving an empty. Collisions are still a bit buggy but I want to move on to the next prompt.#b3d #Blender3d #nodevember #nodevember2023 #geometrynodes pic.twitter.com/YL1n3oBH1o
